Who we are
Sarah Huffaker is the principal behind August Moon Bookkeeping. Sarah earned her Bachelor of Accounting from the University of Kentucky. For nearly 20 years, she has held accounting and bookkeeping responsibilities at companies large and small and in a variety of industries. Her deep experience in real estate and medical devices made her a sought-after consultant in those industries.
You’ll know her as a bookkeeping whiz. Her friends and family know her as mom/wife/sister, chef, chauffeur, neat freak and precision planner. A self-described “organization junkie,” she loves bringing order to chaos – whether that’s your business’ books, or her kids’ schedules.
As a small business owner, wife and mother, Sarah understands the value of time and believes that it’s the most valuable thing she can give her clients. She approaches clients with two simple goals:
